Dongfeng Hosts 2026 Passenger Vehicle Global Partnership Summit: Embracing New Energy, New Pattern, New Future

On November 27, the 2026 Passenger Vehicle Global Partnership Summit, themed “New Energy, New Pattern, New Future”, was held in Xiamen, Fujian Province. More than 600 partners from over 100 countries and regions around the world gathered in this “Island of Egrets” to discuss new cooperation paths and map out the blueprint for overseas business. The summit systematically interpreted Dongfeng’s overseas marketing strategy for passenger vehicles, clarified export targets and implementation paths, showcased the product matrices and cutting-edge technological achievements of self-owned brands including MHero, Voyah, and Yipai, and launched the global launch and 10,000-unit shipment of DONGFENG VIGO.

Wang Jun, Deputy General Manager of Dongfeng Motor; Xie Changjun, Deputy Director of Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone Management Committee; Luo Weining, Deputy Director of Dongfeng Motor’s International Business Division; Hu Jiangshan, General Manager of Dongfeng Changxing Co., Ltd.; Wang Guojin, Deputy General Manager of MHero Technology; Zhao An, Deputy General Manager of MHero Technology; Xie Wenyun, Assistant General Manager of Voyah Automobile; and Pang Fenghua, Assistant General Manager of Yipai Technology, were invited to attend the summit.

Also present were Wang Long, Chairman of Dongfeng Import and Export Co., Ltd.; Qiu Xiaojun, Deputy General Manager (in charge of daily operations); and Wang Jiong, Assistant General Manager.

Wang Jun expressed gratitude to global partners for their long-term trust and support. He stated that the automotive industry is currently undergoing profound transformations in electrification, intelligence, and connectivity, and intelligent connected new energy vehicles have become the strategic direction of the global industrial transformation. Facing this unprecedented era of great changes, Dongfeng Motor is firmly advancing the three major strategies of “New Energy Leap, Intelligent Leap, and International Leap”, continuously improving the full technology matrix of “pure electric + hybrid + hydrogen energy”, and building an intelligent system covering vehicle architecture, intelligent driving, and smart cockpit.

Dongfeng is willing to work with global partners to be a firm practitioner of “new energy”, an active leader in “new pattern”, and a joint creator of “new future”. It will resonate in the same frequency and move forward side by side in the wave of industrial transformation, jointly writing a new chapter of cooperative development.

Wang Long extended a sincere welcome and gratitude to global partners. He emphasized that Dongfeng has elevated its overseas business to the group’s strategic level and is fully building a full-value chain overseas system covering R&D, production, supply chain, marketing, and services. Qiu Xiaojun released Dongfeng’s 2026 global strategy for passenger vehicles. Facing new opportunities brought by the green and low-carbon transformation of the global automotive industry and the reshaping of the competitive pattern, Dongfeng will systematically build global operation capabilities covering the full value chain of R&D, manufacturing, marketing, and services through strategies such as brand differentiation, product matrix, omni-channel access, service systematization, and localized production capacity, continuously accelerating the pace of the “international leap”.

Wang Guojin, Deputy General Manager of MHero Technology; Xie Wenyun, Assistant General Manager of Voyah Automobile; and Meng Kai, Director of the Passenger Vehicle Development Center of Yipai Technology, respectively delivered technical reports on MHero, Voyah, and Dongfeng brands, comprehensively demonstrating Dongfeng’s technological accumulation and product layout in the fields of new energy and intelligence. Dongfeng will continue to strengthen investment in three-electric systems (battery, motor, electronic control) and intelligent assisted driving technologies, accelerate the construction of global R&D and service systems, and promote the high-quality global leap of passenger vehicle business through technological co-creation and coordinated development with partners.
